I currently use a Motorola Moto G 5g 2024. I got this in August of 2024 and I think this is the last year it's getting security updates so I might get a Google Pixel next. I had an iPhone XR prior to this phone.

The biggest drama I've ever had to deal with on a forum I've owned was when I had someone repeatedly pestered me to be a staff member on my forum while he actively spammed my forum. That person was also rude to the other people that worked on my forum. (This was on my first forum and this was years ago.)

Yeah I definitely agree with you! I know some people view free forum hosting as a bad thing and unprofessional but I don't view it like that. Same here. I remember Atrium on Zetaboards (before Zetaboards was bought out by Tapatalk). That's a good example of having a good, active forum on a free forum hosting. Free forum hosting is a great way to get started and test your abilities as a forum owner, without having to fork over a bunch of money up front.

I currently use SMF for Gex Forums! I like it, IMO it's the best free software. My co admin, Twitchismental created a few themes for the software and he even updated one of his own themes for Gex Forums.

Originally it was on MyBB, but I kept getting spammers signing up constantly even with anti spam plugins installed. I used UBB Threads in the past and wanted to use the software again lol.

I wanted to be a police officer.
Then, as I grew older, I wanted to be a homicide detective specializing in cold cases because I feel like those victims are often forgotten.
After I got my B.S. in law enforcement, I decided to pursue an M.S. in Anti-terrorism and counterintelligence studies. I had planned to move to the Langley area and try to get on withthe CIA, DIA, or some other intelligence agency to be an analyst or a case officer.
Long story short, I fell in love where I was born and raised and never left.
I do surveillance for the gaming industry now, and we do a lot of both law enforcement-related work and a whole lot of intelligence work. So, I'm kind of doing what I wanted to do, only not for the US Government, which is probably a good thing right now. It sounds like the job you got was a lot better. You get to do what you wanted without having to worry so much about getting hurt on the job.

I was going to make a paid forum ($25/yr) for the niche of making money online. A serious forum. But ultimately, I decided against doing it. I just want to keep my forums fun, not a business, and I felt that one would have become a business and been very demanding.

I've been playing through the first game again via the Pixel Remaster on my Series S! I forgot how much I love the first game. I played through it via Origins back in 2018 or 2019. I just upgraded all my characters. I have a Knight, Red Wizard, Ninja, and Master.
