I'm happy to report that Ruben has fixed the issues we were having! You should all be able to upload your own avatar now, and for moderators threads should be able to be moved. I'm going to keep this thread open just in case someone finds another bug. Big shout out to Ruben, you rock!

I currently use a Motorola Moto G 5g 2024. I got this in August of 2024 and I think this is the last year it's getting security updates so I might get a Google Pixel next. I had an iPhone XR prior to this phone.

The biggest drama I've ever had to deal with on a forum I've owned was when I had someone repeatedly pestered me to be a staff member on my forum while he actively spammed my forum. That person was also rude to the other people that worked on my forum. (This was on my first forum and this was years ago.)

Same here. I remember Atrium on Zetaboards (before Zetaboards was bought out by Tapatalk). That's a good example of having a good, active forum on a free forum hosting.

Free forum hosting is a great way to get started and test your abilities as a forum owner, without having to fork over a bunch of money up front.

I currently use SMF for Gex Forums! I like it, IMO it's the best free software. My co admin, Twitchismental created a few themes for the software and he even updated one of his own themes for Gex Forums.

Originally it was on MyBB, but I kept getting spammers signing up constantly even with anti spam plugins installed. I used UBB Threads in the past and wanted to use the software again lol.

It sounds like the job you got was a lot better. You get to do what you wanted without having to worry so much about getting hurt on the job.

I was going to make a paid forum ($25/yr) for the niche of making money online. A serious forum. But ultimately, I decided against doing it. I just want to keep my forums fun, not a business, and I felt that one would have become a business and been very demanding.

I've been playing through the first game again via the Pixel Remaster on my Series S! I forgot how much I love the first game. I played through it via Origins back in 2018 or 2019. I just upgraded all my characters. I have a Knight, Red Wizard, Ninja, and Master.

Where I work, we get an hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks.

Where my hubby works, just just gets a 30 minute lunch and no breaks (that's if he works an 8 hour shift). They get paid for 8 hours but he only works 7 1/2 hours though. If he stays for an extra 2 hours to make it a 10 hour shift then they'll let him have an extra break that's 10-15 minutes long.
