I have an eight years old kid, he started playing mobile games at the age of 3. he played mostly educational games. When he was 7, I introduced Roblox and Minecraft. he did not take much interest on Roblox but was fascinated with Minecraft. These days he spends a couple of hours every week playing MInecraft. At what age would you allow your kid to play games?

It depends on what kind of game it is. If it's something like a Mario game, I think it's suitable for a grade school kid to be playing that. However, there are some games that are for adults only because of the content on it. That's why they put age ratings on the games.....so parents will have an idea when they buy it for their kids.

I agree with Jenny on this one, it depends on the type of game. My first video game was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis when I was 4 years old and I think games like Mario and Sonic are fine for young kids but games like Halo wouldn't be. I was allowed to play mature games when I was 12 but my parents asked me first if I knew the content in the games were fake and not real, of course I knew that lol so I didn't go out and reenact the games.
