Thankfully this has never happened to me before. This is why it's important to make backups of your forums/blogs at all times. You just never know what could happen.

My forum has been targeted by spammers, but I’ve never owned any sites that were hacked.

My forums and blogs haven't been hacked, however, I once had DDoS attack on one of my forums. That's how I ended up using Cloudflare for my forums.

My websites and forums have been "hacked" and defaced long long time ago. Back in the early 2000s. I used a turnkey script that was a clone of a dating software or something like that. It was bad code and I got hacked. I was able to fix it myself but it sucked.

Now I don't use anything I can't trust through research and reviews first.
