I started my poker forum because I love poker, and I think I can build a site that stands out from the competition. I've dreamt of building a poker site for years, and my forum is the first step in me eventually owning a online poker room.

How about you? Why did you start your forum(s)?

Passion.

I really only create forums based on my biggest passions in life because I'll never get sick of posting about the topic.

Talk Whatever is the only one that isn't really a passion, as it's a general forum. I keep it because we have a small community on it that enjoys it.

The first forum I created was a support forum for my multi author blog. When I created my first public forum, my motive was to make money just like I was doing with my blogs.
