Can you read music?

Was it hard to learn?

I could never read music, but I had a best friend in the past who was very good at reading all types of music. Last I heard he was a music instructor.

When I was in college, I enrolled for a guitar class and started learning notation. I had a great interest in learning music but I guess I wasn't great in learning. I gave up after 6 week. I cannot read music.

I used to be able to read music as a kid because I took band and played the trumpet in middle school. I wish I still knew how to play a instrument, my wife has a keyboard and I could look into learning piano maybe. She used to take piano lessons when she was 10.
