I'll touch on the conversation with them, but if someone is truly set that the Earth is flat and buys the crazy and easy-to-disprove reasonings for how things work, then I just move on. Granted, the only place I have even talked to a flat earther is online.

In our local language one of the words for earth literally means "round." never in our entire history were we confused about earth being flat.
