What was your first ever forum?

What was it about? What software did you use? Is it still online?

My first forum was a Pokemon rom hacking community and it was hosted on Forumotion. I had no clue what I was doing at the time, let alone I had a hard time understanding how to set up permissions in phpBB lol. This was also during a time where we only had tools to mod the Pokemon games, no disassemblies. I also wasn't too experienced in ROM hacking in general either, both with Sonic and Pokemon so I am not sure why I picked that to be the niche of my first forum. :V

My first forum was based on a literature series that I really enjoyed reading. I think that was a very specific niche` and it would be hard to post in if you're not familiar with the series.

My first forum is still online, it is an online community about Virtual pets and sim games.

I created my first forum in 2017, it was a part of an online magazine I was running at that time (a private forum). I was build on wordpress using a forum plugin called Asgaros. My first open forum was created in 2020 and it was also built on wordpress with wpforo plugin.
