Do you prefer Apple or Android?

I used to prefer Android but these days I like Apple more. I just feel a bit more secure using a iPhone.

Android. It is highly customisable, free and open source.

Lots of apps, ease to make apps for Android and whatnot? A lot of custom ROMs are also available.

I tried Android out once when they gave them to us freely for work purposes and personal use, but I couldn't grow as accustomed to it as I could to the iPhone. I've been using the iPhone almost since it hit the shelves. I am very satisfied with what it can all do and it does everything I need it to do for my personal use.

I am a big fan of custom ROMs. That option does not exist with Apple devices.

XDA has a number of developers who like to try funny ideas. There are apps in Android that only works on that particular OS.

I have two iPhones, my personal, and my work one.

However, I actually much prefer androids.

I got the iPhone last time I upgraded my phone solely due to the deals that were going on at the time. I'm not one of those fan boys or "sheeple" that takes a side and declares them to be superior. I can say there are strengths and weaknesses to both products.

I usually tell people it really doesn't matter. It's all personal preference. But what I will say is, iPhones are good for usability, perfect for older people to get accustomed to. Androids are good for customizability. Good for those who really want to get more from their phones.

I've always been an Apple fan boy.

I made the switch back over to Android in 2024, which is funny to think since I made my reply in this thread just a year prior to switching back. xD I'm currently rocking a Motorola Moto G 5G 2024, but I'm thinking about moving to a Google Pixel and maybe switching to an alternative OS. GrapheneOS is an android and iOS alternative that is becoming more popular as time goes on.

I don't see myself switching to iPhone but heck, I won't say I never will because there does seem to be a fair bit about them to like.

I refuse to own a phone that's not a Android, and I especially don't like iPhones.

I prefer Android over Apple. My hubby use to have an iPhone at one point and he stopped getting iPhone's and switched to Android because they would get glitchy after a while which made them too difficult to use anymore and he'd have to get another phone.

I'm still rocking an Android phone. I might just get a Samsung and stick with Android instead of dealing with Graphene honestly. This is the last year my phone gets security updates, and my phone is almost two years old. That's the thing that sucks about Motorola devices...

I only got a new phone earlier this year because my previous phone decided to die on me. My husband still has his phone.....he's not wanting to have to deal with getting a new phone and having to learn how to use it. Plus, he doesn't want to have to switch his apps over to the new phone.

I meant to add to this that we both prefer Android. I've always had Android and my hubby made the switch a few years ago to Android from iPhone.
