I have sold forums multiple times. The first time I sold a forum was in 2021. It was making me good money through Adsense and I managed to sell it for 3x of my yearly revenue.

I have never sold a forum before. Sounds like you got a good deal on your forum though! I have thought about selling Blue Hedgehog which is a Sonic blog, but I don't think I will I want to keep the files and database just in case I want to revive it again in the future.

Forum selling might be a good biz model in nations where the money goes further.
