I started with shared hosting. I use shared hosting for many years. I has hosted as many as 20 websites on shared hosting. However, when I started running forums and when forums got busier, I moved to VPS.
What kind of hosting do you use for your websites?

I currently only use shared hosting for my websites. I did use VPS for a little bit on a forum I was going to attempt to convert over to Discourse, but that never happened. I managed to install Discourse with no issues, I ran into one hiccup when installing the Docker for it to run but once I updated my installation of Ubuntu it worked.

I am on VPS at the moment. I moved to VPS after using shared hosting for many years. I upgraded when I started running multiple forums and my activity levels increased.

I use Wordpress for my blog, which I've had for over 7 years.

I'm currently using Jcink for my forum, which I've only had for a couple of months.

I use three separate shared hosting accounts (so I can get a free SSL for every domain). It's good enough considering the traffic isn't huge. If I had huge traffic, the speed might decrease so I'd need an upgrade.

I currently have three different shared hosting accounts at the moment. I had four but I ditched Ionos, they were too overpriced.

I'm on free hosting as I'm not very tech savvy and I wanted something I could work on mostly by myself

Are they from different companies? I use the same company but the different accounts are to get free SSLs for each domain.

They're all three different. I should consolidate the three but Twitchismental has done some awesome work on Gex forums that may not work as well on my Hostinger server.
