I wanted to find a place to trade Yu-Gi-Oh cards online, so I found a forum to do so eventually I asked how message boards were created and one of the links led to InvisionFree, so I created my own board on that software and the rest is history!

It was back in 2001-2002 or so, i was so into discovering Heavy Metal bands that i got into some fan boards (metallica, iron maiden, etc.) and since then my love for forum boards never stopped.

I found a community that documented glitches found in the Generation 1 Pokemon games. It was called Glitch City Labs, this was the very first forum I ever joined. This was back in late 2006, I made some very cringe posts lol. I was 16 at the time though, and had no forum etiquette. Sadly the forums were taken down and the community moved over to Discord. :\

I really liked cricket and I knew about a cricket forum my brother used, so I signed up. This was around 2012. The rest is history!

It was either forums or IRC chat when I got started and I did not enjoy the live chat idea, so I ended up joining some forums and ended up on Invision Free, which just opened up a whole new world to me.

I started my own forum based on a book series I enjoyed reading. Someone showed me a free forum software that allowed me to make my own forum.

One of my first websites was a gothic website.

I used to be into that, LOL.

Not anymore, but I still like the stories, music, and some of the culture.

But anyways, I found phpBB v1 and used it for a little while, and then v2 came out, and it was on after that.

I think that was 1999 or 2000.

The first forum I used was a forum for the in house writers of a content aggregator platform called Hubpages. later, I found Postloop and The Forum Wheel. These sites allowed writers to post on forums and make money. As a member of Postloop and The Forum Wheel, I started posting on many forums.
