How often do you have to deal with off topic posts? Is it from the same member? I recently seen a few off topic posts made by a member on a forum, and it got me thinking about this subject. I usually don't mind if a few posts get off topic, but the whole thread could derail if it continues.

In the past, I did not have off topic section on my mental health forum and whenever i got off topic post, I would lock it. But when I revamped my forum, I added off topic section. I do get off topics posts occasionally and I don't mind.
