Have you ever used a forum powered by Flarum before? Or have you ever tried this software out? It's similar to Discourse and NodeBB but unlike those two you can upload this to shared hosting! There's also a free forum host called Free Flarum where you don't have to worry about installing the software yourself. I currently am using it for a Sonic forum though it's basically for testing purposes mostly. https://freeflarum.com/

I think I've tried it out with Free Flarum at some point. I remember it being strange. Not necessarily in a bad way but it was far off from what I was used to.

Yeah it's interesting to say the least lol. I'm currently using it for a Sonic hacking forum, but I sort of want to move away from it. I still prefer the threaded look of a forum over nested, like Flarum.

I have heard of the software but never used it, I do not think I have even joined a forum built on Flarum.

I forgot to mention that the people who worked on FluxBB moved on to this project. In 2015 the guy who was in charge of the FluxBB project announced FluxBB was going to eventually cease to exist, because he teamed up with the guy who founded esoTalk.
