Sometimes it's better to edit an existing thread instead of creating a new one. How often do you find yourself going back and editing older threads or posts on your forums? Or do you just keep the thread/post how it was originally posted and chime in the thread with new information?

I'll admit....there have been a time or two where I've just scrapped a thread and started over.

But sometimes I've adjusted the thread because I don't want to loose all the responses to that thread.

To be honest, I may edit old threads that I've created to include more information and to enhance the overall content offering that the thread provides.

I also like to inter-link older threads to newer threads to make navigating my forum a lot easier.
